No Sin is Too Big for God to Forgive
No Sin is Too Big for God to Forgive
God is able to forgive all our sins no matter how big they are.
No sin is too big for God to forgive. He loves us and wants to forgive us.
Is my sin too big for God to forgive ?
Recently, a reader wrote, “What should I do? I believe that my sins are too bad to be forgiven? Living in guilt and sorrow about my past and feeling rejected by God. Is there hope for someone like me? Would prayer help me?”
No sin is too big. There is hope. Prayer will help you.
Please let me answer this question for him and for all other readers who are asking it with a resounding, “Yes!” Yes, I do believe prayer will help you. There is hope for someone like you and for all of us. No! No, your sins are NOT too bad to be forgiven.
God love us so much. He wants to forgive us.
Positive versus negative guilt and sorrow
If guilt and sorrow have a positive effect on us and make us want to tell God we are sorry for our wrongdoings, they serve a useful purpose of helping us change; to the extent they make us feel hopeless and unforgivable they are being used as tools by Satan himself.
You are forgivable. God wants to forgive you. No sin is too big for God to forgive.
The Bible is filled with forgiven sinners
Let’s review some of the people forgiven in the Bible. King David committed adultery. Moses struck the rock in anger instead of speaking to it. Peter had anger issues and fearfully denied knowing Christ not once but three times. Rahab was a prostitute. Noah got drunk and naked after he got off the ark. Thomas was a doubter. Last but not least, Saint Paul murdered Christians before he became one.
Whew!
There is hope for you too. Do not lose hope.
Pray, and ask God to forgive you for all your sins. Tell Him you are sorry for all the things you have done wrong. Ask Him to forgive you. Thank Him for dying on the cross for your sins. Ask Him to be Lord of your life, and tell Him you want to follow Him all the rest of the days of your life.
You surrender; God cleans
Don’t make the mistake of thinking you need to clean up your life before you surrender it to God. No sin is too big for God. You surrender your life; He will clean it up.
Pray now
Don’t delay. Pray now. No sin is too big. God will forgive you.
