One Nation Under God
Lord, we pray for each and every person who is voting today. We ask that you give them wisdom and insight beyond their measure.
Please graciously give them the courage to go to the polls to cast their vote as they believe You would have them to vote. Please give them the fortitude and the stamina to stand in line as long as might be necessary, and please give them the patience to deal with any frustration they may experience so that they successfully cast their votes.
Lord, we further ask that You humble us as a nation and hear our prayers and forgive our sins and heal our land. Please bless us as a nation, and please bless the leaders we elect today..In Your Son’s name we pray. Amen.If you are reading this today, please know that I am praying for you.
